DIY Easter Bunny Makeover from Target

One of my favorite guilty pleasures is pillaging the Target Dollar spot bins for makeover projects! One of my latest finds was this $3 paper mache bunny. I knew they had so much potential and that it would be such a cheap and easy project that I bought two!

I wanted a fresh green mossy look but moss is such a disaster to work with. I settled on glitter, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find the shade of green that I wanted in thick glitter. So I chose a glittered scrapbook paper.

After pulling off the paper face cutouts, I traced the shape onto the back of the paper and cut them out. I wanted the bunnies facing each other so I flipped the second bunny around the opposite way.

Then I used Mod Podge to glue the paper to the bunnies.

Last, I decided to finish them off with a fun tail made out of a yarn DIY pom pom!

I think they turned out so simple and cute. And for an $8 (with paper) purchase that only took less than 10 minutes, I call it a win!
